We have all been back for over a week and I just wanted to say thank you for all the arrangements and suggestions you made. We had a lovely long weekend! We did not see the lights but we thoroughly enjoyed the Blue lagoon Spa and we had the perfect guide. The restaurant that you recommended was also fantastic! Many thanks for all your help in planning this short break; we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Iceland, despite the weather. It was almost nonstop rain and the Northern Lights Tour on both Sat & Sun nights, were cancelled due to the weather. A real shame, because although we knew there was no guarantee of seeing the Lights, we hoped that if not successful the first night, we could try on Sunday. I found the hotel very handy for the centre of the city, but very basic and in need of some re-decoration. We enjoyed our walking tour of Reykjavik, but found it very strange to go sightseeing in the dark, which meant the photographs we took may not be very good. I haven't put them on the computer yet, but will do and see what they are like. The Settlement Museum was wonderful, really informative and being interactive was great. It was very wet and windy on the day we went on the Grand Circle Tour, but it was still very enjoyable, made even more so I think, by there being only 4 of us in the minibus and having a guide who was so enthusiastic and attentive, she was a gem. Again to be out walking across to the seat of the world's oldest parliament before the sun had risen, is something which will stay with me forever. Your suggestion of combining a trip to the Blue Lagoon with the return to the airport, was brilliant, even though I am not a swimmer, I was able to walk and then sit, in the Lagoon before walking across to the waterfall to get the full benefit of that warm water massage on by shoulders. I even slept on the flight home. The food was excellent, we had very, very fresh fish, which tasted so different from that we can buy here and sampled the famous land and goose, not to mention the sweets. Everyone we met or spoke to was very friendly, only too willing to share information about their beautiful country and delights. They were all so knowledgeable, whatever we wanted to know, and it seemed that they knew the answer. I would like to go back, take photographs in daylight or on a dry day and just maybe, try again to see the Northern Lights. Again many thanks. Barbara

John and I wanted to thank you for helping to make our trip to Iceland such a memorable event. We really appreciated your assistance and were impressed with how well All Iceland works together with Reykavik Excursions and the hotels to make guests feel looked after and to take away the hassle of transfers. We managed to squeeze in an extra excursion to the Golden Circle on Sunday with the rescheduled flight and luckily experienced the Northern Lights at the Northern Lights Inn on the Friday night as they didn't appear for the organised trip but we enjoyed seeing more of Iceland anyway. Lovely food at NL Inn and in Reykavik - the Panorama dinner made a very special New Year's Eve. We loved Gulfoss, Geysir and the National Park as well as the experience that is swimming in the Blue Lagoon in the snow!!

Hello just to say thank you to you and your team. My friend and I had a wonderful few days in Iceland, it couldn't have been better. Everything from the flights to the pick ups worked like clockwork. The hotel was lovely and very well situated and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The tours were excellent (even if we didn't get to see the Northern Lights) and we just loved Iceland itself and want to go back to visit again sometime. Thank you for all your help. Regards Anne

I just wanted to tell you that we had a fabulous break in Iceland. Reykjavik 4You Apartments were brilliant, very central, and extremely comfortable and the staff was really friendly and helpful. There was bit of a mix-up with the Northern Lights tour but the hotel sorted it out. We also did the Southern Adventure tour with GTI. Gummi the guide was BRILLIANT.I would suggest that where possible you use his firm in future; it was much, much better than the RE tour we did the next day. Finally as a tip to pass on: RE coaches have free Wi-Fi. It makes getting information and posting pictures to Facebook etc really easy. Once again, thank you for your help and we hope to travel with you again sometime Perry

I hope you are well! I am writing to say a big 'Thank you' for all your organisation for our trip to Iceland this New Year. We had an amazing time and managed to do so much in just 6 days. The apartment was excellent and exactly what we needed, whilst the car was great and performed very well on the icy roads. I am sure we will want to return, perhaps this summer, so I will be back in touch when I need your help again. Guy

Friday was a total clear but cold day, -15C at the glacier with the snowmobile, everybody is cold here! The Saturday was amazing! We arrive to the volcano but just to the beginning of the glacier we had had some problem with the car and the weather was really bad, anyway we enjoy like children going into the snow and getting block there, breaking the ice of the river and with the small trekking we decided to do by ourselves. The Sunday at the Blue Lagoon was just the perfect ending for a 10 out of 10 points trip. We can say we were very lucky, we were hunting for the northern lights around 3 hours or maybe more with no luck and in the last moment when we had decided to go home we saw two buses stopped in the road and we decide to stop an d go down just in case. People was saying, please go home is cold! It was, indeed, but I was keeping my hopes and I went down for last time, suddenly something started to appear far away and in a few minutes we could see them in all the sky, everybody went out from the bus and we were enjoying this amazing entertainment. It was incredible!!! In addition, both restaurants were spectacular; we love all dishes and atmosphere. We danced like mad people at the Austur! Antonio

We had an excellent weekend, the hotel was very good, the trips were very well organised and made good use of our short time in Iceland and the snow was a bonus. Sadly we did not see the Northern Lights so we shall have to return!

Dear Bergey Thank you so very much for organising our wonderful holiday in Iceland. We had a wonderful time and got back just in time, we didn't bring this weather back with us as it was sunny when we left! We arrived last Wednesday in a terrible blizzard but the weather then got better and better. We really enjoyed all the trips and the hotel was great with a room looking over the sea front and Mt Esja, although we didn't know it was there for 2 days due to the weather! The staff were so helpful and friendly helping us with re-booking when needed. We found everyone very friendly and welcoming. The trips were also well organised and very interesting. We did see the northern lights, not the most spectacular but an amazing experience. Certainly a trip to remember and we would love to return sometime. Thank you very much Jenny

I just wanted to say a big 'THANK YOU' for arranging such a lovely holiday for us - the two hotels we stayed at were both very comfortable and luxutrious. Also, we would never have experienced all of those amazing sights and places if not for your wonderful suggested itinery and the independence provided by our 4x4 hire car. The finishing touch to our holiday was when at 01:30 in the morning of the day we left for the airport, the telephone rang in the next room and we realised that this was for an Aurora wake up call so we ran to the window. There were the Northern Lights, in all of their beautiful green glory, over the bay of Reykjavik. We hope that one day we will be able to return to Iceland so if we do, we will be in touch again.

Very successful and enjoyable trip. The airport transport team were cheerful aand efficient. Hotel Klettur very good, and reception excellent in re-booking northern lights trip etc. We had excellent viewing of the Aurora on our second night. The coach team tried very hard. It was a particularly nice feature to repeat the excursion if no lights were seen. The Golden Circle trip was excellent, also the Blue Lagoon visit. Wandering round Reykjavik was enjoyable. We got ourselves into the Alþingi and watched a vote. There was no hassle of any kind, all the people we met were very helpful.

Hi Bergey Just to thank you for organising our wonderful Iceland trip! We only “saw” the Aurora through our cameras , because of cloudy skies and general conditions, but it didn’t matter too much, because everything else was perfect. In particular, our trip with Extreme Iceland to the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon was worth it alone – there were just 5 of us in total. We had an extremely good driver/guide: Ingolfur Bruun. He organised everything very well. We did just about everything we could, the only things we couldn’t do (and no-one wanted to!) were walk on the glacier, because the wind was far too strong, or walk behind the waterfall, because the path was too icy!! The Center-Hotel Plaza was very well situated for us and was just right. They did have a lift problem, but got it sorted quickly. We also sampled some fantastic Iceland food. I will be recommending you to all my friends (many want to go to Iceland!). I attach some photos I took (we took hundreds!), including the Aurora! Regards, Daphne

Many thanks again for organising our trip to Iceland. We returned last night after having an amazing time including a spectacular session of the Northern Lights. Hi Solveig, We had a fantastic time thank you! We will definitely be going back! What an amazing country, all of the activities were brilliant, the horse riding was our favourite! The information you provided was was very helpful. The hotel was very nice too and ideally situated near the town centre. Unfortunately it was a bit too cloudy for the northern lights but that didn't matter as there were so many other things to do and see. So we will be back in contact with you some time in the future to book another trip to do more horse riding and have already recommended you to friends who are interested in going.
