Hello Bergey Just wanted to thank you for all your efforts in making our short break in Iceland such a success. We wanted to do something special for my wife’s birthday and it certainly was! Everything went just right. Going completely self drive really worked well and we were at in the Blue Lagoon almost an hour before the bus shuttle would have collected us from the Airport. The Northern Lights were there on our first night as well, making the 2nd and 3rd evenings much more relaxed. The Golden Circle tour was great and we made it all the way to Vik on our final day. Both days were in unbroken sunshine as well. Only problem was we had to come home! Rest assured that when we return to Iceland, we will be in touch again and will recommend you to any interested friends. Once again, a big thank you! Peter and Jackie

Dear everybody at All Iceland, I just wanted to say thank you for arranging my trip to Iceland. We had a lovely time, and were fortunate to see the place covered in the white stuff as it had been snowing for a few days before we arrived. We weren't lucky enough to see the Northern Lights but we did have great fun trying to hunt them down - even if it was very exhausting (long days and late nights)!!! Dear Solveig, I just wanted to tell you that we had an amazing time in Iceland last week! Thank you for all your time and effort in arranging and changing it! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved the location of the hotel and the staff were great. The meal we had in the Grillmarkt, booked by you, was wonderful. We also had a lovely meal the first night in Argentina, recommended by the hotel. The Golden Circle tour was brilliant and we did the Northern Lights trip the same night. We saw the start of the lights but unfortunately it clouded over. The second tour was amazing, despite being beset by bad weather (hurricane/sandstorm). Hi Bergey, I know you would like feedback and I am more than happy to tell you about our trip. Just to let you know that our holiday to Iceland went very well indeed. Thursday night was cloudy but we were landing on the plane. Friday to Sunday had completely clear skies throughout our trip. Friday night had no show for the Northern Lights trip so we went out again, as they said you could, on Saturday night after a very good Golden Circle tour. Ours was the first bus to the site and after seeing some smudgy ribbons we were set to depart the site about 23.45. Curiously our bus was the last to leave despite being the first to arrive............ Our guide started to say "Sorry you did not have a clearer view of the......." Then he looked out of the window and said "GET OFF THE BUS. NOW" So we all scrambled off the bus to be greeted by the start of a totally amazing display which enveloped us like an umbrella. It was breathtaking. It was awesome. There were streaks, ribbons, solids, sparkly falls, reds, yellows, greens, OMG! Even the guide was jumping up and down - he said that was one of the top displays he had seen this season. All the buses that had left were racing back and some did not make it back in time for the lights. I hope they saw it from their coaches. All the credit was due to our guide. He said that he felt that something big was going to happen so that`s why we were the last bus there. Despite our best efforts the photographs we took did not do the display justice because we were directly underneath it, and we have to live on the memory, but we took wonderful pictures of our trip especially of the sea in front of our hotel at sunset. I`ve attached one for you to see how clear the weather was. The hotel was fine. Nice room and heated up quickly , comfortable bed, superb shower, good continental breakfast, (they need a better toaster though and you have to get there before 9.00 to enjoy the apple or chocolate pastries). They do happy hour at the bar between 17.00 and 19.00 (half price beer and wine - extremely good value) For your information the Pizza place below the hotel does really good food at reasonable cost. Dear Bergey, I just wanted to let you know that we had an AMAZING time in Iceland. I can't describe how great it was- the only downside was it wasn't long enough and we had to come back! However, we have both said we will go back ( and probably more than once! ). Thank you so much for sorting everything out for us and your patience. Dear Bergey We recently returned from our trip to Iceland and wanted to let you know we had a really wonderful time. The accommodation and food at Grimsborgir were first class, the people everywhere were so friendly and of course Iceland is very beautiful. The two guides we had from South Iceland Adventures were brilliant, we had lots of fun with them and they showed us some special places. Even the flight with Icelandair was above average, with plenty of legroom in Economy class seats Finally, your arrangements worked like clockwork with a friendly driver to collect us and take us back to the airport and no problems in between. Well done and thank you We are now committed to returning, probably in the summer and will contact you with our ideas best wishes David

Hi Helga, Just to let you know, our holiday to Iceland was absolutely fantastic!! everything was just as planned on the itinerary and our guide for the Jokurlsarlon trip was a fab guy called Jon who was absolutely brilliant!! we have sent him some photos and been in touch with extreme Iceland to give our thanks to them as well. I can't fault a single thing and you made our trip a very special one. we have seen so many amazing sights and we will definitely be going back. we saw a minke whale and lots of dolphins but only caught a small glimpse of the northern lights but the black sands and iceberg lagoon was amazing!!! Once again many thanks to you for the organisation of our trip with very kind regards Stella ( and a very happy hubby!!)

Hi Solveig and Bergey I had a wonderful time in Iceland on this tour (oct 4th - 11th), and had fabulous sightings of the Northern Lights. The scenery was magnificent and we had good weather throughout the holiday. We saw the Northern Lights on 4 nights out 6 , and I attach a couple of photos that I took in the Natnajokull Nat Park. Our travel guide Petur was wonderful and he really helped us to see the Northern Lights at their best. I have the Gudmundur Jonasson Travel Brochure , and I see that they do another Northern Lights Tour in the north of Iceland: "North Iceland Aurora Challenge" .I would love to go back to Iceland this winter - possibly next March to see the Northern Lights again at their best during this Solar Maximum, and see more of Iceland. I wonder if All Iceland provide this tour, and if so is it available during March? Thank you so much for booking me the tour, and look forward to hearing from you, Best wishes Simon

I love the north part of the country, was amazing, just stunning scenery! The south part wasn’t so nice, I guess, much more touristic. The most I liked from the trip- the people. Amazing culture, kind and friendly. Will definitely go back again!!! Anna

Dear All Iceland Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback for my All Iceland OMM Trip Overall and excellent service The website contained all the information required to make a decision on the travel and the two main elements; cost and itinerary were clearly shown The uniqueness of the using All Iceland was that it everything was included; flight and all transfers. Pre travel communication was excellent and I personally rang several times and was always greeted with friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. Final details were clear and laid out exactly the plans and even down to contact numbers for taxi drivers. The plan required little adjustment only to delay a taxi in order to indulge ourselves in the Blue Lagoon. All Iceland thought of everything and allowed us a night in Reykjavik to sample the local beer, food and nightlife. I would definitely recommend All Iceland to my friends and anyone wishing to visit Iceland, it is run by Icelandic people who are justifiably proud of their country and want travellers to experience the best service possible. The fact that Jorunn was on the OMM helped and provided us with our own holiday rep. Thanks team and hope to travel with you soon A

We had a great time, thank you and thanks to all the hotels, a very satisfactory experience. Each of the hotels had its own strong points, in style, location, or facilities, and without exception they were smart clean and comfortable with good food and friendly service.

The weather was kind to us, remarkably calm, and clear, mainly dry and warm enough and sometimes warmer than that! We were impressed how well set up the entire island is for tourists, mostly well made roads with comprehensive signage and information boards at every conceivable spot, and little other traffic, often none in sight. We are, shall we say, mature, but coped nicely with the busy schedule and the activity involved. We were lazy about trying to speak Icelandic, or even pronounce it, but everyone has such good English. The hotels were without exception first class, and all the staff very friendly welcoming and helpful, as were all the people we came across in restaurants and other stops along the way. Eating out in Reykjavik was at the Cafe Paris, which we would recommend, otherwise in the hotels where we stayed, and the standard of food throughout was high. And of course the island itself has so much going for it, amazing scenery. Your itinerary book and maps helped a lot, there was just one minor blip towards the end when you had the Hotel Anna 16km beyond Vik when it was more like 40 odd, which we took a while to grasp, and two of the suggestions to visit, Dyrholaey and Reynisfjall, were better done on the way there rather than the next day, which in fact we did....maybe worth correcting for others. Having said that, the upside was we had more time the last day for Gullfoss and Geysir, before return to Reykjavik. And although we'd spent so much time on the road, we did go out to the Reykjanes peninsula on our extra day, which, as you suggested, was well worthwhile.

The special interest we had in my father's war time experiences in Iceland was satisfied, with the visit to the Wartime museum at Reydarfjordur, we were nicely looked after there by the two ladies on duty, and by identifying the area around his base at Hafnarfjordur, though the town has obviously changed so much. Please pass on our particular regards to Bergey who attended to all the booking and pre travel arrangements, her interest in our wishes and the information she provided before travel was reassuring as well as helpful. We appreciate developing Iceland tourism is important to the country, we will recommend it to others and would be happy for our comments to be recorded and passed on. Sincerely, Phil and Barbara
