We flew home from Reykjavík last night after a wonderful experience in Iceland. Thank you for organising our itinerary.
We were blessed with unusually sunny and dry weather. There was a light shower in Reykjavik on the night we arrived and it rained for the journey from Vik and in Reykjavik on our final two days. Every other day was warm and bright so Godafoss and Dettifoss looked dazzling.
The hotels you selected were well located and we had great meals at Restaurant Loki on our first and last nights - thanks for the recommendation.
We took the scenic gravel road from Stykkisholmur to Budardalar beside the fjord. The scenery as we approached Akureyri is also breathtaking.
