Day 1 - Arrival in Iceland
Arrival at Keflavík International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Reykjavík where you will spend one night.Optional Excursion - Visit to the Blue Lagoon Geothermal Spa or the Sky Lagoon Kópavogur (Capital Area)
If time allows you may want to visit the world famous Blue Lagoon geothermal spa on the way from the airport as it is ideally located between Keflavik and Reykjavík. Enjoy the lagoon for as long as you like then take the transfer to your hotel in central Reykjavik.
Overnight stay at 3 star hotel in Reykjavik.Day 2 - Greenland arrival and City Walk
Flight from Reykjavik to Ilulissat (about 3 hours), from Reykjavík Keflavík International Airport.
Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel overnight stay for 4 nights. After the check in you will enjoy a City walk of Ilulissat.
Opportunity to experience the midnight sun, while winter brings darkness and the northern lights, characteristic natural phenomena of the region.
(Note: The season for midnight sun is approx. May 22nd-Jul 24th. Outside this season the excursion is operated as an evening cruise with the beautiful sunset reflecting over the icebergs).

Day 3 - Day at leisure in Ilulissat and Midnight Sailing to the Ice Fjord
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Ilulissat, Day at leisure or take some optional excursions.
Being situated almost 400 km north of the Polar Circle you have a fantastic opportunity to discover more about daily life in the Arctic. Enjoy to sit out and watch the gigantic icebergs float by! You can also pre-book optional tours.

Day 4 - Sermermiut Walk and Whale Safari
Wonderful walk to Sermermiut and the UNESCO World Heritage Site with its breathtaking viewpoints. The tour begins at the old heliport, and we’ll quickly enter the UNESCO area, passing the remnants of the old settlement of Sermermiut. In and around Sermermiut, various Inuit peoples lived in different periods over more than 4,000 years. The area was known for its diverse wildlife, which provided excellent hunting opportunities. Sermermiut's location, nestled between two mountain slopes, made it an ideal settlement for the Inuit in Greenland’s harsh natural environment. At its peak, more than 250 Inuit lived in the area, with the last residents moving from Sermermiut to Ilulissat around 1850.
Duration about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
In the afternoon enjoy the Whale Safari.
Departure from Ilulissat into Disko Bay, heading towards the large icebergs in the Ice fjord, keeping our eyes and ears open to spot whales in their natural environment. The whales are often found near the Icefjord, as it is teeming with life and provides an abundance of food.

Day 5 - Day tour to Oqaatsut
Join us on our day trip to the breath taking, quiet and undisturbed settlement Oqaatsut only 20 kilometres north of Ilulissat.
Tour starts by boat from Ilulissat to Oqaatsut; about 30minute boat tour where sailing among the gigantic icebergs from the Ilulissat Ice fjord on their path north of Ilulissat. Arrival in Oqaatsut, the guide will take you on a tour of the settlement where you, among other things, like the school, church and fish factory of Oqaatsut. The guide will tell you all about living in a small settlement-community and the history of Oqaatsut.
The settlement tour ends at Restaurant H8 Explorer where we will be serving lunch made from local ingredients. After lunch you will have time on your own to hike in the area or simply enjoy a peaceful hour or two with a cup of coffee and unforgettable views before the boat sails us back to Ilulissat.

Day 6 - Departure from Greenland
Breakfast at the hotel. Farewell coffee at the hotel with your guide. Transfer to the airport. Flight with Air Iceland from Ilulissat to Reykjavik Domestic Airport around lunch time.

Day 7 - Departure from Iceland
Transfer from the hotel in Reykjavik City to Keflavik International Airport or prolong your stay to have more time to enjoy the northernmost capital of the world.
