Hi Solveig,
First of all thank you for your New Years Card and Bottle. In short we have had a fantastic time and everything went to plan. It was interesting on arrival we expected snow but it was mild ! On arrival at the Blue Lagoon we relaxed and had fun amongst the Snow Showers . Later that evening we saw the northern lights and the guys from Super jeeps were great, really enthusiastic. The two big trips were great and I have to be honest I had reservations about Snowmobiling but WOW it was great and on route back we got hit by a snow blizzard up on the Glacier. I could see a thing but I felt like a young super hero driving back to base camp, brilliant!
On Monday we did the New Years Mystery tour , great fun by a great tour guide. Yes I believe in Elf’s. The New Years dinner was great and the fireworks special - 50/60 minutes of explosions!
We have had a great time the hotel was fine, clean and helpful and ideally located for walking down the Main Street to the shops, Pubs and restaurants. Yes a fantastic location and your program was excellent. We are all shattered now and I’m back at work tomorrow with many happy memories of our time in Iceland, a great country with some great people including your good self. Thank you for organising this trip, your recommendations and knowledge was invaluable.
