Thank you once again for a fantastic holiday in Iceland. I am happy to report that everything went without a hitch. I have listed all of the different factors as follows: -
Storm Hotel: 10 out of 10. The hotel was immaculate from top to bottom. Every single member of staff was friendly, polite and helpful.
Lava Tube Caving: 10 out of 10. Our Guide "Viktoria" was superb. The caving experience was even better than expected. Viktoria was passionate and knowledgeable while happy to engage with all our questions. Viktoria also had a fantastic sense of humour in that typically dry Icelandic style that had us laughing from start to finish.
Midnight run: 10 out of 10: Very well organised on a good course.
I also went on a hike up to the top of mount Esja. I used the bus service for the first time with a pass that I bought from the tourist information. I was surprised just how easy and efficient the buses were On my decent from the summit I stumbled across a concert that had been set up high on the other side of the mountain. This would only happen in Iceland and another reason why I love the place.
Iceland is my favourite holiday destination and I look forward to returning as soon as I can. The service that you have provided on both occasions has been first class.
