Dear All Iceland, The holiday you arranged for me was perfect! I really enjoyed the Extreme Iceland trip to Snaefellsnes. Even the weather was good on both days. The overnight guest house at Langerholt was very good and I do recommend that for people visiting that area.
On the Snaefellsnes tour I was able to combine my leisure activities of walking and bird watching as the guide took into consideration the various interests of the group. The trip to the cave was amazing as well.
Taking the Blue Lagoon trip on return to the airport was a good idea as it helped me to relax after my active two days.
Of particular comfort to me was the help I received from All Iceland when there was a small problem at Hotel Klettur when Reception appeared to think that I owed the sum of 9000 ISK. This was a problem with their new computer system but I rang your 24 hour help desk and the person there sorted it out quickly. I was very relieved to have someone to help me and at Saturday night around 9.30pm.. You worry more in a foreign country about these things, because you cannot speak the language well. As I was travelling on my own and am an older customer it was a relief to have someone to turn to for help and advice.So many thanks to that lady (I do not know her name but I rang on Saturday 27th)
I am already planning my next trip to Iceland and will definitely be in touch with you to arrange a booking for 2017. I fancy whale watching in Husavik and then a day trip to the Westman Islands. I think it could be done using Reykjavik as a base.
