Dear Solveig and Jorunn (who i was in contact at the beginning!), We came back from Iceland yesterday. I cannot explain how amazing this holiday has been. Iceland is a magical place...we didn't want to leave! It is such a stunning country and the people are all so lovely! Our whole trip was perfect from start to finish. I can't thank you enough!! Grimsborgir is a delight! and the sea view room at Centerhotel Arnarvholl was fantastic! We did all the recommended trips, except Vik as we ran out of time that day. We couldn't go whale watching on Sunday either, as the wind was very very strong, and it would not have been a pleasant journey!! There was a storm in the North of Iceland i think, and we felt some of it in Reykjavik. But never mind, we saw so many other amazing things, it really wasn't a shame to miss out on that. And best of all... the solar winds and the weather were very kind to us! We saw the Aurora Borealis 3 nights in a row!! the first night, as the sun went down, and we were still on our way to Grimsborgir, we stopped on the side of the road as the lights started to appear. It was magical. We are so happy to have experienced all of this. Thingvellir national park, Kerid crater, Gulfoss, Skogafoss, the Geyser, the Blue lagoon, the glacier, Gunnhuver (?), etc... everything was breathtaking! I want to thank you very much for all your help in making our holiday perfect. Of course, we would love to go back!! but we might not be able to afford it too soon, but if or when we do i will definitely book the trip via you again. You must be so proud of your country, and rightly so! it's stunning. Thank you for everything! Best wishes, Emilie
