Well we have now returned to the UK after a fabulous break with All Iceland.

Transfer to and from Keflavik airport
We really appreciated this private transfer touch.
The driver – Kristinn Palsaon was both prompt and friendly, and it made our introduction to and return from Iceland a very pleasant experience
Hotel
Islandshotel – Hotel Reykjavik Saga
Can heartily recommend!
This was pretty new as you had said and was indeed a really nice hotel, with lovely rooms, dining and amenities.
(And they also did indeed offer cooked items at breakfast – bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs, as part of the set fare.)
The reception staff that were on duty during our stay were so friendly and helpful too.
The hotel has yet to appear on any of the Reykjavik tourist maps that we were given so, although initially hesitant, we were delighted when we became aware of it’s excellent location in the city, with only a short, level walk to the harbour area and lots of dining venues (the Post Hause was only a matter of a street away)
Unfortunately sadly we were unprepared for the availability of the spa facilities at the hotel, until after we had arrived.
Northern Lights by Super Jeep
Definitely recommend this too. Super Jeep were an excellent choice.
Not only because of the mode of transport, but the staff went out of their way to stay out for a long time and enable our group to have the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights – which we thankfully did!
We later heard from tourists using a different company, that they hadn’t stayed out sufficiently long enough and had missed the event.
The Golden Circle & Frioheimar Greenhouse Tour
Sadly Ian was ill in the night before this trip so we thought we would have to miss it.
However, when I rang the company office to explain, they offered us places on their afternoon trip which was for the Golden Circle only, and that was fine for us.
It was REALLY cold in Iceland last week (not like the +7 the week before)
We thought we had dressed warmly, but only wished that someone had made us aware of how cold it could be on this trip, as it was – 7 and – 15 with wind chill factor.

In conclusion this was a really enjoyable trip and one that I would happily recommend
