Here you can observe interesting lava formations at Dimmuborgir, pseudocraters and underwater caves, filled with geothermal water at Grjótagjá and when visiting Námaskard we will see hissing steam plumes and boiling sulfur- and mudholes.
We stop by Jardbödin, the Blue Lagoon of the North, where there is possibility of bathing and eating lunch. Entrance is not included but can be booked beforehand via the agency.
June – mid August: Evening-whale watching is available from Akureyri. This activity is not included but can be added on via All Iceland prior to departure.
